MORNING and AFTER CARE at CK
ELIGIBILITY
- This program is available for all students, preschool through eighth grade, enrolled at Christ the King School.
- Children are welcome every day. No child can be accepted into the program until the emergency contact information form, the MACCK registration form and fees are submitted.
FEES and RATES
- Supply fee of $50 is due twice per year, when children begin the program and the first day after Christmas break for students attending daily.
- After the first hour, charges will accrue in 30-minute increments, except the last 15 minutes of the day (6:00-6:15 pm).

- Late charges will be assessed for habitually late pickups as follows: Discretion will be used in billing for tardiness due to extreme weather conditions, family emergencies, or other similar issues.
FACILITY AND HOURS OF OPERATION
- The MACCK program will be held in the Regency Room.
- Morning care is available from 7 a.m. until 8:20 a.m.
- After school care is available from 3 p.m. until 6:15 p.m.
- MACCK will not be offered during days off from school, Christmas or Spring break, or early dismissal days.
DISCIPLINE
- The MACCK program is an extension of Christ the King School. The CK Handbook and disciplinary procedures set forth therein will be followed.
- Students are not allowed to leave the campus without explicit permission from staff.
DROP OFF AND PICK UP PROCEDURES
- Parents/Guardians are to accompany children to the old main entrance of the school for the morning program.
- When students are dismissed after school, younger kids will be escorted by our MACCK workers and will go directly to the Regency Room with all their belongings.
- Parents/Guardians will go to the original/old main entrance of the school to pick up their child at the end of the day. (NOTE: There is a special door bell under the main entrance door bell that only rings in the Regency Room- please use that bell when picking up your child(ren). It is labeled door 2. There is also a phone number to call if the doorbell is not being answered 708-855-2220
- Complete information for those authorized to pick up sick children are to be listed on the Releasing Children from MACCK form.
INFORMATION ABOUT MORNING CARE
- Students are permitted to bring their own breakfast. Breakfast will not be provided.
- Students may work on assignments, read a book, or play with provided games and puzzles.
- Morning Care will be in the Regency room Entrance through door 2 on Hoyne
INFORMATION ABOUT AFTER SCHOOL CARE
- Students will be provided a snack.
- Depending on the weather and gym schedule, students will be allowed supervised time outside or in the gym for recreational activity. We will try to be outside as much as we can.
- Students will be given time to complete homework assignments independently.
- Books, games, puzzles, and other similar activities will be provided. Students may bring their own books for independent reading. However, hand-held games and other electronic devices are not allowed. CK is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
ILLNESS OR ACCIDENT
- In case of a serious accident, parents will be notified immediately and 911 will be called if necessary.
- If a child becomes sick during MACCK, parents will be expected to make arrangements for the child to be picked up immediately so as not to infect the other children.
BILLING PROCEDURES
- Billing is done on a monthly basis.
- Charges are added onto Blackbaud (formerly Smart Tuition).
- In the event that a family becomes: 1) $100 delinquent in payment or 2) more than a month behind in payment, Dr. Riordan will be notified. Dr. Riordan will contact the parents informing them that the bill must be paid immediately or the child(ren) will not be allowed to participate in the program until the bill is paid in full. A $10 late fee will be added to the total bill.
- Payments are separate from tuition.
