Re: 2023-2024 Tuition Rates

Dear Christ the King School Families,

Each year, we work hard to determine a tuition rate that will continue to provide the atmosphere of academic excellence that the children of our school deserve. This year’s increase is based on the fact that the archdiocese raised salaries by 5%, the cost of health insurance and other employee benefits are significantly increasing, and the overall cost of maintaining the school has increased due to surcharges being passed along to us by some providers (fuel surcharges, for example).

Next year, a 5% increase will allow us to continue to deliver excellence in education that we have come to expect. There will be no increase in fees. The $50/family FSA fee and the $20/student FSA fee will not be billed until the October statement.

We are also asking our families to raise $500 for our school through the purchase of gift cards and gift certificates available through our Manna Program. Like last year, we will bill our families for the $500 required fee with our first billing. However, we will spread out the materials and technology fee so that you are not faced with large fees in one tuition payment. Families will receive a credit in January reflecting their Manna earnings from 7/1/23-12/31/23 and again in July reflecting their earnings from 1/1/24-6/30/24. You will be billed upfront and credited back as you make your Manna purchases throughout the year. Once you reach your $500 obligation, one hundred percent of future earnings will go to your family as a tuition credit for the following school year.

Thank you for your commitment to Catholic education and in particular your faith in Christ the King School. Please know that the faculty, staff and administration are working tirelessly to ensure that your children receive a truly excellent education in an environment that will foster life-long friendships and a deep understanding of God’s love for them. We would be remiss if we failed to acknowledge the incredibly generous contribution of $108,000 from the Christ the King Foundation! Without their support, our tuition costs would be higher, and our services lower. Please continue to support their activities that directly benefit your children.

*The FSA $50/family fee covers student assemblies, Catholic Schools Week events, field trip funds, New Family Meet & Greet, First Day Coffee, Hands on Art Program, Scholastic Book Fair, Spirit Day, Wish List Program, and more!

*The FSA $20/student fee covers classroom parties and celebrations, as well as a class gift to the teacher for Christmas and birthday and is added to Smart Tuition.
