Re: 2021-2022 Tuition Rates

Dear Christ the King School Families,
Each year, we work hard to determine a tuition rate that will continue to provide the atmosphere of academic excellence that the children of our school deserve. The pandemic hit everyone hard, and catholic schools were not
immune from the effects. Our enrollment dipped during the 2020-2021 school year, but better days are surely ahead!
Next year, a 3% increase will allow us to deliver excellence in education guided by God and the Holy Spirit. The $50/family FSA fee and the $20/student FSA fee will not be billed until the October statement.

We are also asking our families to raise $500 for our school through the purchase of gift cards and gift certificates available through our Manna Program. Last year, we increased our fundraising obligation through the Manna Program to $500 per family. This decision was made after holding the obligation steady at $250 for over 10 years. We also waived the $250 obligation for families enrolled in our school for the 2019-20 school year in response to the COVID-19 outbreak that spring due to the impact the pandemic had on our families. Like last year, we will bill our families for the
$500 required fee with our first billing. However, we will spread out the materials and technology fee so that you are not faced with large fees in one tuition payment (the materials and technology fee was previously billed upfront with your first tuition payment). Families will receive a credit in January reflecting their Manna earnings from 7/1/21- 12/31/21 and again in July reflecting their earnings from 1/1/22-6/30/22. The biggest change is that instead of billing you for your balance due at the end of our fiscal year, we will be billing you upfront and crediting you back as you make your Manna purchases throughout the year. Once you reach your $500 obligation, one hundred percent of future earnings will go to your family as a tuition credit for the following school year. In the past, fifty percent of earnings went to your family and fifty percent went to Christ the King as an ongoing fundraiser after you fulfilled the $250 obligation. The obligation for our preschool families is $250/family unless there are older children.

Thank you for your commitment to Catholic education and in particular your faith in Christ the King School. Please know that the faculty, staff and administration are working tirelessly to ensure that your children receive a truly excellent education in an environment that will foster life-long friendships and a deep understanding of God’s love for them. We would be remiss if we failed to acknowledge the incredibly generous contribution of $95,967.04 from the Christ the King Foundation! Without their support, our tuition costs would be higher, and our services lower. Please continue to support their activities that directly benefit your children.

God Bless,
