Good morning, CK! I think I am sufficiently embarrassing naughty Nicholas over here with all of my dancing. I hope everyone is doing well and we have made it to our 5th day of the eLearning congratulations everyone's doing such a great job so proud of you so let's begin with our prayer Hail Holy Queen. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Amen. Tomorrow we have I'm happy happy birthday to Aiden Upchurch! Aiden I hope your day and weekend is also wonderful and on Sunday March 22nd happy birthday to Brigid winters. Bridgid I hope you have a great day as well I also want to take each day to Spotlight our staff and amazing things that they are doing working remotely from home and so today I'm going to show you a really quick clip of Mr. K created a video a music lesson for his kindergarten and first graders and I just think it's pretty amazing so I'm going to try to show it to you here welcome to your first onlin music class I am here in the comfort of my home studio and I've got a bunch of friends with me including a lot of my instruments this one is a Native American flute that I got when I was about your age. And a Native American Wisconsin you can see, do you know what animal that is? It's a buffalo pretty amazing and he goes on in a little bit later in his video which is about 12 to 15 minutes long just long enough to keep their attention what's great about it too is that he can also pause it or the kids could pause it when they're ready so if your house is anything like mine sometimes there's an unexpected noise and all that good stuff that comes when you got kids cooped up at home so I just thought I would share that great job Mr. K I know that the teachers are just experimenting with fun ideas and ways to keep our kids engaged so thank you very much mr. K I also wanted to remind everybody that mrs. Kowalski, Mrs. Terlecky and Mrs. Arethas are all available to support you as well I know that they're reaching out on Google classroom and offering their help so the kind of help alleviate maybe what the classroom and subject teachers are doing you can also reach out and kids can also reach out directly to them as well so please take advantage of that Remember, get out for some fresh air have to stay home and why are you looking at me like I'm crazy yes we can go outside it's a good point are able to go outside we can't play with our friends right now unfortunately because we have to keep a social distance but we are able to get out in your backyard to play with your family members you can go for a walk. These are really important things to help us keep our minds clear and I would recommend doing things to look forward to so last night we had a family movie night and we Ferris Bueller's Day Off that was pretty fun wasn't it we all enjoyed it and so try to pick movies I really look forward to it all day then so those are just some suggestions that maybe you guys try as well. We might go for 16 Candles tonight I'm not sure but that might be on the docket and I love Nick's facial expressions when I'm talking. I also wanted to remind you that to support our local businesses because I know many of them are closed and so while I have a fridge full of food and all the time in the world I still don't want to cook so we're going to take advantage of patronizing those businesses so that they don't feel too badly of a hit of all of this.
