Support
CK2050
The CK2050 fundraising campaign began in 2016 as a result of the community’s desire to address the Energy, Safety, and Capacity concerns of the parish school. The Lay leadership of the community, in conjunction with Fr. Larry, opted to capitalize on the To Teach Who Christ is Campaign of the Archdiocese to best meet the needs of our local community folding the fundraising campaigns into one. As a result of the campaign, we are in the process of bridging the school and convent to give us the secure entrance that modern school buildings are able to provide. The complete gutting and renovation of the convent will give us the needed capacity to properly house kindergarten classrooms as well as a new music room, a new art room, and a new media center. These additions will complete the project that began with a completely new heating, cooling and lighting system for the school. The campaign also provided a desperately needed new sound system for the church. The work on the school building is underway, but so is the need of your financial support. We are actively fundraising to see these plans come to fruition.
Please contact Fr. Larry Sullivan at the rectory 773-238-4877 to discuss making a gift to the CK2050 Capital Campaign. Thank you for your prayerful consideration and support.
The Christ the King School Foundation (CKSF) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit entity. Established in 1993, the Foundation’s sole mission is to ensure that Christ the King School continues to thrive and maintain its reputation for excellence in education.
Every year the CKSF gives part of its endowment as an annual gift directly to the operating budget of the school. An operating budget can include, teachers’ salary, emergency funding, and building maintenance. In the last five years, the foundation has given over $750,000 to Christ the King School. Through our endowment and annual gift CKSF ensures that our School will always be able to provide excellent education at a fair price.
There are a number of ways to support the CKSF: Volunteering for the Board, volunteering to help at an event, attending a fundraising events or just making a donation. To donate, visit our GiveCentral page.

Volunteer
Christ the King is grateful for the assistance of parent volunteers to support our school events and activities. There are many ways to volunteer your time!
Our Family and School Association, School Advisory Board, Athletics Association, and Men’s Club are some of the organizations that rely on strong parent engagement.
All school volunteers serve under the direction of Dr. Riordan, our principal, and must complete background checks and VIRTUS training through the Archdiocese of Chicago. If you have questions about the requirements for volunteering, you are welcome to email Erin Ross, Christ the King’s VIRTUS Coordinator.
